This vintage Madeira once belonged to the prestigious private collection of João Romão Teixeira (1864-1933), a renowned wine maker from Lugar de Baixo in southwest Madeira. Teixeira descended from one of the captains who journeyed with Zarco during the discovery of Madeira. The OP brothers stumbled upon this collection in 2015. The bottles were affected by time , prompting a re-corking and re-labeling by the OP brothers.
