This is a rare and highly sought-after whisky, and it is sure to be appreciated by whisky lovers everywhere.
The whisky was bottled in the early 2000s after maturing for 7 years in selected sherry casks from Jerez. It was bottled at 40% ABV without added coloring and was released exclusively for the Italian market.
The whisky is named after Armando Giovinetti, the founder of the Italian wine and spirit importer Giovinetti and Figli. Giovinetti is often credited with introducing single malt whisky to the Italian public, and he worked closely with Macallan for many years.
The Macallan 7 Years Old Armando Giovinetti Special Selection is known for its rich and complex flavour profile, with notes of sherry, dried fruit, and nuts. It is a very smooth and drinkable whisky, and it is sure to appeal to fans of Macallan and sherry cask whiskies in general.
The watercolour on the label features the artwork of Sara Midda (an artist who previously lived in South of France), painted during a visit to the distillery.
