    A very rare expression from Old Pulteney in near-perfect condition. Dive into the maritime history of the Pulteney Distillery, a coastal gem in Wick, Scotland, established in 1826. For a significant period, it proudly held the title of the northernmost distillery on the Scottish mainland. Acquired by John Dewar & Sons in 1924, Pulteney faced a challenging period when Prohibition was enacted in 1930, forcing its closure in an effort to address drunkenness in the local maritime community. The distillery resumed operations in 1955, with a focus on supplying whisky for blending, though Gordon & MacPhail had the privilege of licensing a single malt under the name "Old Pulteney" during that time.

    This tradition continued when Inver House acquired the distillery in 1995, marking a new era for Pulteney. Under Inver House's ownership, Pulteney released its first distillery bottlings, maintaining the cherished "Old Pulteney" label on their bottles. This was a significant step in showcasing the distillery's single malt expressions to a broader audience.

    SHIPPING LEAD TIME

    We will ship your product(s) between 24 and 72 hours after we receive your order.

    • Delivery time in Europe: approximately 3-7 working days after you receive your shipping confirmation and tracking number.
    • Delivery time outside of Europe (with exception of the United States, Hong Kong, South Korea and Mainland China): approximately working 5 days after you receive your shipping confirmation and tracking number.
    • Shipping to the United States: we can ship to 27 states. Please find more information about lead times, rates and tracking information here. 
    • Delivery time to Hong Kong and Mainland China: approximately 30 working days after you receive your shipping confirmation and tracking number.
    • Shipping to South Korea: we ship with Bpost. Please note that taxes are very likely charged by Korean customs. We can reship parcels that are returned to sender after renewed payment of shipping costs and return costs, or we can be refund a returned parcel minus the shipping and return costs. Bpost takes an estimated 3 weeks.
    • Free Shipping requires a minimum threshold investment of $500 and applies for one bottle in selected countries and up to a certain weight in EU.
    • Depending on the destination Duties and VAT might be charged.
